AMBITION: My life
long dream was always to become an Attorney at Law. I firmly
believe that this field is perhaps one of the greatest avenues
for exercising the skills and abilities which I have acquired
during my five years at the St. Joseph’s Convent. The
Law will not only allow me to better the capabilities I already
possess but it will also give me a chance to join the many young
women and men who dedicate their lives to upholding justice
and ensuring security. My passion for debating and public speaking
has sparked a love in my heart for the laws and legal systems
of the Caribbean. The intricacies and excitement involved in
such a field will not only create and maintain the enthusiasm
I need, but will supply me with the essential devotion for putting
my focus and my life into this career.
Representing my country in regional pageants
have given me life long memories and a sense of confidence which
I only hoped to acquire in any life time. It has taught me what
it means to be strong, to be calm, and how to simply breathe
under the most extreme kinds of pressure. It has given me the
opportunity to showcase my talents, my intellect and my passion
for competition. Finally, it has also taught me what it means
to be an inspiration for the young women who believe they could
not muster the same bravado I did. The Miss Grenada World Pageant
will open endless doors and opportunities. It will not only
give me the chance to represent my country once again, but it
will also allow me to discovery an entirely new chapter in my
life.
